Athletic Physicals
Athletic physicals for the 2008-2009 school year will be held
June 2nd and 3rd at HHS. Boy’s physicals, grades 6-11, are scheduled
for Monday June 2nd starting at 5:30pm. Girl’s physicals, grades
6-11, are on Tuesday June 3rd, starting at 5:30pm. All student
athletes need to pick up and fill out sections of the physical
sheet before coming to the physicals, which includes parent and/or
guardian signatures. Fees for physicals are $10 per athlete, with
checks made payable to Heath High School Athletic Department.
The collected fees will be used by the Athletic Training Dept.
for computer software and supplies. Dr. Robertson, Heath’s Team
Doctor, and his partner are volunteering their services by administering
the physicals. Several local athletic trainers and nurses will
also be assisting. If you should have any questions, please feel
free to call the Athletic Department office at 740-788-3300.

MSL/Heath Change Ticket Policy for Seniors
As a result of recent changes in Mid-State League rules, the Heath City Schools will no longer allow Golden Buckeye card holders free admission to Athletic events. The Heath City Schools will provide, at no cost, to senior residents (ages 60 and over) of Heath, a pass that will allow admission to all home Heath Athletic events. Those who qualify may pick up a “Bulldog Seniors Pass” at either Heath HS (7:30am to 3pm) or the Heath Administrative Office (8am to 12pm and 1pm to 3pm). Please bring proof of age and proof of residency. Call Heath athletic director,
Trevor Thomas, at 788.3300 for more information.
Heath City Schools has an Athletic Hotline. Bulldog fans can
call to find out weekly schedules and up to date postponements and
cancellations. The number is 740.788.3344.
Looking for money for college? See Mrs. Land for all the
details and applications. The money is out there people.
You just have to apply for it!
LFC scholarships now available. The Licking County Foundation
is currently offering general scholarships to Licking County students
planning on continuing their education. All awards are based
on merit and financial need. Applications are available
at all HS guidance offices, or by calling Melynda Bagley at 349-3863.

Mission Statement
The staff of HHS, working
with our parents and the greater community, will strive to provide a caring,
personalized environment where students can learn, and our Student Athletes
will be recognized.
On behalf of the Heath City Schools, We'd
like to welcome you to the Heath Bulldogs' athletic website. We hope
that this site enables you to gain more information, meet our players,
cheerleaders, and coaches. We are already updating the web site every week
to make sure the entire community will know what is going on with the Bulldogs.
"Always a Competitor, Often a Winner",
is a saying that has been around Heath HS Athletics for quite a while. We,
at Heath, think that our Athletic Program significantly supplements an
environment that encourages learning. It provides Student Athletes with an
opportunity to expand the classroom into real life competitive situations, from
which they can learn.
We hope you enjoy our website! |

Bulldogs Athletic Boosters
The Heath Athletic
Boosters is a Volunteer Organization dedicated to promoting sports
through fundraising, which benefits Heath High & Middle Schools’
Athletic Programs.
Meetings are the 1st
Monday of the Month, 7pm, High School Library. Everyone is invited
and encouraged to attend.
This organization is
formed to create enthusiasm in the entire Athletic Program in the
Heath School District, to stimulate a desire to render service,
to promote leadership among members, to aid financially in the growth
and progress of the Athletic Program and do all things necessary
or incident thereto not in conflict with the law and regulations
of the Heath Board of Education.
It’s
all about Loyalty.
As Heath Fans begin to crowd into a School Sport event,
few will notice the financial paradox that surrounds them. Fans
will buy a ticket from a volunteer and many will purchase their
food/snacks from another volunteer, who works in a concession stand
possibly built with Booster money. Fans will then settle in to watch
their sons or daughters sprint out onto playing fields in uniforms,
courtesy of - you guessed it - Boosters.
We
need you!
Today, some educators say the role of Booster Clubs has never been
more critical to the success of Boys and Girls Sports and other
extracurricular activities.
“There’s Always
something to do
For the Kids”
How can you
get involved in the Athletic Boosters?
Come
to the meetings. They last around an hour, 1 day a month.
