December 22, 2007 - Licking County Tournament
The Heath Varsity Wrestling Team competed in the annual Licking County Invitation
on December 22nd hosted at Utica High School. The Bulldogs finished 6th in
the 10 team field with Newark Catholic taking first place honors. Three-underclassman
lead the Heath wrestling team with Dominique Barlow (freshman), Kevin Heim
(sophomore), and Travis Drumm (freshman) all competing in the championship
finals. Seven individuals placed in the tournament for Heath: 103: Barlow
1st. 112: Heim 1st. 171: Drumm 2nd. 145: Ross 3rd. 152: D. Hunt 4th. 160:
B. Robinson 4th. 215: Flagg 6th. In addition, Dom Barlow earned the Most
Valuable Wrestler award for the tournament. Heath will participate in the
22 team Coshocton Stitch Co Invitational on January 4th and 5th.

The Heath JV Wrestling Team hosted the annual Heath Invitational. 18 teams
attended with the host Heath squad earning a respective 5th place finish.
Teays Valley won the tournament with 243 points just beating West Jeff who
finished with 219 points. Newark Catholic finished in 11th place with 44
points, Newark 12th with 42 points and Licking Valley finished 16th with
21 points. Heath’s lone Tournament Champions for the day were Bryce
Rowley 160 and Travis Drumm 189. Both wrestlers pinned their way through
the tournament.Other places for Heath were Josh Sayre who finished 2nd at
171, Sam Skulas 4th at 130, Kodie Hutchinson 6th at 140 and Alex Pettit 6th
at 215.
December 6, 2007
The Heath Varsity Wrestling Team hosted their first tri-meet of the 07-08 season
at HHS with West Muskingum and Tri-Valley High School. In the first dual
Heath defeated West Muskingum by a score of 50–22 and then lost to
Tri Valley in the last dual of the evening by a score of 40–36. Double
winners for the evening for Heath were Dom Barlow 112, Kevin Heim 119, Nolan
Staiger 152, Ben Robinson 171 and Travis Drumm 189.
